If tuition and/or fees are not paid by the deadline listed in the Payments Date section of the calendar, students may be dropped from all classes and require a Petition to Reinstate Class Schedule form to be reinstated.

Students are expected to pay their tuition and fees according to the Business Office’s payment deadline schedule. When a student’s schedule is dropped for nonpayment, the student is either expected to either:
-No longer attend classes
– OR Make payment in full of any outstanding student account balances and request to have their schedule reinstated.

Complete this petition to request a complete reinstatement of all courses dropped for non-payment. Partial schedule reinstatements will not be accepted.

This form is for students that need to request a VISA for their overseas family members to attend Spring graduation ceremony.

The Senior Waiver is available for residents of Georgia who are 62 years of age or older.  Students can can enroll tuition free courses.

To maintain eligibility for financial aid you must fulfill the conditions outlined in this academic plan until you meet SAP requirements as described in the SAP policy.  Schedule an appointment with your academic advisor to complete this form.

Students may request a hardship withdrawal after the official withdrawal (“W” date) deadline in the College Calendar. A hardship withdrawal is an exception based on unusual or emergency circumstances beyond the student’s control.

The Hotel Management Specialist certificate program prepares students for employment in a variety of positions in today’s hotel industry. Hotel Management Specialist certificate program learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.

The Auto Maintenance and Light Repair TCC prepares students for entry level maintenance and repair positions in auto service shops. Students will learn the basic repair and maintenance operations in all eight ASE areas of passenger vehicles and light trucks. Graduates of this TCC will be able to pursue master level auto knowledge in the auto technology diploma or degree programs.

The Advanced Shielded Metal Arc Welder Technical Certificate of Credit is a continuation of the Basic Shielded Metal Arc Welder certificate. The advanced program provides instruction in shielded metal arc welding in the overhead, horizontal, and vertical positions.

Students, who passed the GED Test in the State of Georgia, may request their test scores using the GED Official Transcript/Diploma Request form.

• There is a $15.00 fee for a GED transcript and a $15.00 fee for a GED Diploma. The form should be completed online and then printed to forward to the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).
• The form can be delivered or mailed to TCSG with a cashier’s check or money order to the address listed on the top of form. Personal checks and faxed requests are not accepted. After the request is received by the Georgia GED Testing Program, please allow 7 business days for processing.

Applicants who took the GED Test outside the State of Georgia can request their transcript from the American Council on Education (ACE). Please be aware that there is a fee required to obtain a copy of an official transcript through ACE.

Applicants to Georgia Piedmont Tech must submit official transcripts from the last high school attended showing the date of graduation, or submit official GED transcripts and official transcripts from each college or university attended.

Complete the online High School/Post-Secondary Transcript Request form and print to forward to the high school/post-secondary institution. It is important to include former names to expedite the processing of your documents and the completion of your admissions file. The High School/Post-Secondary Institution may charge a processing fee for each official transcript requested by a student. Contact the institution directly for payment and submission guidelines.

Applicants to Georgia Piedmont Tech that have completed all or part of their education outside of the United States and the United States territories are required to have their foreign educational credentials evaluated by an independent evaluation service.

Student will learn the welding and joining technology skills necessary for careers in the welding industry. The programs emphasize a combination of welding theory and practical application necessary for successful employment.

Before submitting the Program Change Request form students must be sure they:

• submit the form by the semester application deadline.
• meet the admissions requirements for the requested program. Accucplacer and Asset test scores and high school diploma graduation status will be evaluated by the Admissions Office prior to approving the change.
