Georgia Piedmont Technical College believes the health and well-being of all our students is critically important. In recognition of this, GPTC has partnered with ESPYR to provide a range of support services for students to address the many personal and family issues that can disrupt student well-being and academic success. Services are free and confidential, with your rights protected within the bounds of the law.

Student Assistance Program Offerings:

  • Free and confidential in-person professional counseling
  • 24/7/365 telephonic access to counselors
  • Free consultation and referrals for financial, legal, childcare and other personal matters
  • On-line self-help resources and programs
  • Up to 4 sessions, per counseling issue for students and dependent family members

Our goal is to ensure you have the professional assistance necessary to help you handle personal matters before they impact your well-being. Confidentiality Notice

The program is free and confidential, with your right to privacy protected within the bounds of the law. The program will not disclose to Georgia Piedmont Tech who uses the program, so we will not be aware you are using the services unless you choose to inform us. Among the many services provided include assessment, short-term counseling and referral, if needed, for personal and emotional issues, such as stress, depression, relationships, family matters, academic difficulties and other problems.
