The School of Arts & Sciences offers English, Mathematics, Social Science, and Basic Science courses that lead to an Associate of Applied Science Degree. These courses provide a strong foundation for all certificates, diplomas, and degrees at the college. Plus, Georgia Piedmont’s 25+ transfer agreements allow students to put these courses toward continuing their educations at four-year institutions.
The School of Business & Computer Information Systems prepares students to enter the workforce in accounting, banking & finance, business administration, business management, marketing, and computer information systems. Some of our newest offerings include mobile app development, cyber forensics and Saturday College, which allows a student to earn a business management degree in two years of Saturday and on-line classes.
In addition to Georgia Piedmont’s top ranked Licensed Professional Nursing program, the School of Health, Education & Professional Services also offers well-respected phlebotomy, opticianry, and clinical lab programs. The School of Health, Education & Professional Services also contains the high-demand fields of early childhood care & education, film, and our cosmetology program.
The School of Industrial Technologies includes the traditional fields of air conditioning; building systems & controls maintenance; auto and motorcycle mechanics; and refrigeration technicians. Our new advanced manufacturing center will train technical experts to work on highly automated, sensitive controls in sophisticated manufacturing environments. With our emphasis on future-facing technology, we are preparing tomorrow’s workforce today.
Programs in the School of Public Safety & Legal Studies cover a variety of first-responder professions, including fire science, emergency medical, and our nationally accredited law enforcement academy. In addition, our American Bar Association-accredited paralegal studies program is respected by lawyers and the judiciary throughout the state.
