The School of Arts & Sciences offers English, Mathematics, Social Science, and Basic Science courses that lead to an Associate of Applied Science Degree. These courses provide a strong foundation for all certificates, diplomas, and degrees at the college. Plus, Georgia Piedmont’s 25+ transfer agreements allow students to put these courses toward continuing their educations at four-year institutions.
The School of Business & Computer Information Systems prepares students to enter the workforce in accounting, banking & finance, business administration, business management, marketing, and computer information systems.
In addition to Georgia Piedmont’s top-ranked Licensed Professional Nursing program, the School of Health, Education & Professional Services also offers well-respected phlebotomy, opticinary, and clinical lab programs. The School of Health, Education & Professional Services also contains the high-demand fields of early childhood care & education, and our cosmetology program.
The School of Industrial Technologies includes the traditional fields of air conditioning; building systems & controls maintenance; auto and motorcycle mechanics; and refrigeration technicians. Our new advanced manufacturing center will train technical experts to work on highly automated, sensitive controls in sophisticated manufacturing environments. With our emphasis on future-facing technology, we are preparing tomorrow’s workforce today.
In addition, the School houses Legal Studies programs, including criminal justice and American Bar Association-accredited paralegal studies, respected by lawyers and the judiciary throughout the state.
Public Safety houses the Law Enforcement Academy, serving current employees of law enforcement as well as motivated individuals who want to launch their law enforcement career through proper training.
