Learning opportunities develop academic, occupational, and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement. The program emphasizes a combination of Criminal Justice theory and practical application necessary for successful employment. Program graduates receive a Criminal Justice Technology diploma. Graduates who are current practitioners will benefit through enhancement of career potential. Entry-level persons will be prepared to pursue diverse opportunities in the corrections, security, investigative, and police administration fields.

 

Course Sequence:

We encourage all new Criminal Justice majors to select CRJU 1010 and CRJU 1400 during the first semester of classes at GPTC.  This will maximize the opportunity to complete the required CRJU classes, as CRJU 1010 is a required for many of the major courses.  An Advisor will help you find the times/days that work well with your schedule.  Students must be program ready.
