COVINGTON, GA – The practical nursing program at Georgia Piedmont Technical College has been ranked as the state’s second best by practicalnursing.org. The online service identifies the best licensed practical nurse (LPN) and licensed vocational nurse (LVN) in every state in the union. Schools are assessed by students’ NCLEX-PN (National Council Licensure Examination-Practical Nurse) pass rates, the number of students taking the test, with the higher number being the greater ranking position and the number of years the test data is available. Those with more years receive a higher ranking. There were 21 schools in Georgia analyzed but only 10 were ranked based on the metrics.
