TCC #1-Early Childhood Care and Education Basics (9 credit hours)

Courses: ECCE 1101-Intro to Early Childhood Care and Education, ECCE 1103-Child Growth and Development, and ECCE 1105-Health, Safety and Nutrition

TCC #2- Child Development Specialist (15 credits)

Courses: Completion of ECCE 1101, 1103, and 1105 from above, along with ECCE 1112 Curriculum and Assessment, and ECCE 1121-Early Childhood Care and Education Practicum (*Practicum Placement Site Required*)

*Courses in this pathway are offered both online and GPTC Newton Campus

Welding Pathway

-Complete 2 Technical Certificates of Credit in the sequence below:

TCC #1-Basic Shielded Metal Arc Welder (15 credit hours) / Offered in Newton each fall semester

Courses: WELD 1000-Intro to Welding Technology, WELD 1010-Oxyfuel and Plasma Cutting, and WELD 1040-Flat Shielded Metal Are Welding

TCC #2-Gas Metal Arc Welder (15 credit hours) / Offered in Newton each spring semester

Courses: Completion of WELD 1000 and WELD 1010 from above; along with WELD 1090 Gas Metal Arc Welding

Plus, one of the following courses: WELD 1150 Advanced Gas Tungsten, WELD 1151 Fabrication Process, WELD 1152-Pipe Welding, WELD 1153-Flux Cored Arc Welding, or WELD 1156-Ornamental Iron Works
