Dual Enrollment Class Registration
The registration process for Dual Enrollment is different than it is for full time students! Read the guidelines below to ensure your classes go through the right channels.
Ready to register? Click here!
Dual Enrollment students do not register or drop classes themselves. Students who make a schedule change without permission of the high school counselor or DE coordinator may not be eligible for Dual Enrollment funding.
To register for classes, students must follow the steps below:
✓ Create or Update Your GA Futures Account
Make sure you have created a GA Futures account and submitted your Dual Enrollment application for the 2025–2026 school year.
✓ Meet with Your High School Counselor
Discuss which courses you’d like to take with your high school counselor. You can browse our available college courses using our searchable schedule. Make sure to check the location and the availability of each course you choose: GPTC Course Schedule
✓ Counselor Approval
Ask your high school counselor to add your selected courses to GA Futures to ensure funding is approved.
✓ Submit Your Course Registration Form
Once your school counselor has added your course(s) to GAFutures, submit the registration form here: GPTC Course Request Form
If you'd like a walkthrough of the course search and registration, you can watch this video: How to Search and Register for a Course
✓ Familiarize Yourself with GPTC Technology
You’ll spend a lot of time in your GPTC Email, Student Dashboard, Blackboard, and many other places. Check out this link: Technology Orientation Help
