Retraining Tax Credit
The state of Georgia offers a Retraining Tax Credit. This program provides qualified businesses state income tax credit for eligible types of employee retraining programs.

Strong operations depend on strong frontline leaders. GPTC’s Shop Supervisor Leadership Series helps manufacturing employees make the transition from skilled team members to confident, effective supervisors.
Training is practical, instructor-led and designed around the realities of the production floor. Businesses can select the topics that best address their workforce needs, from managing conflict and improving shift communication to using data, automation and AI in modern manufacturing.
Designed for emerging leaders and employees moving into their first supervisory roles, Leadership 101 develops the people-management, communication and organizational skills needed to lead a safe, productive team.
Leadership 201 helps experienced supervisors move beyond daily problem-solving and take a more strategic role in operational performance. Participants learn to use data, technology and proven improvement methods to lead change and strengthen productivity.
The Shop Supervisor Leadership Series is modular and customizable. Businesses can select a minimum of five topics to create a training plan focused on their employees, operational challenges and organizational goals.
