Information Technology Professional (ITP4)  Diploma


The IT Professional diploma will emphasize specialized training in home and corporate networking, computermaintenance, operating system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, information security, computerprogramming; and web site design. These skills represent the subset of knowledge expected from graduates in theMGTC service area. The program graduate receives a diploma and is employable as an information technologyspecialist, help desk support specialist, network installation specialist, PC repair technician, or network administrator.

This course serves to provide students with the knowledge of the fundamentals of computer technology networking and security along with the skills required to identify hardware peripheral networking and security components with an introduction to the fundamentals of installing and maintaining computers.
