Student Grievance Procedures
Georgia Piedmont Technical College provides due process for student appeals in areas of admissions, disciplinary actions, and academic matters. Georgia Piedmont Technical College also provides a student grievance procedure. A student wishing to initiate an appeal or grievance may obtain a copy of the specific procedure from here.
National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA)
Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC) participates in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA).
Georgia Piedmont Technical College is a member of the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). This membership allows GPTC to offer online courses and programs to students residing in states outside of Georgia, provided those states also participate in SARA.
GPTC may enroll online students only from SARA-participating states. Students should confirm their state’s participation status through the NC-SARA website.
Student Complaints for Online and Distance Education
Out-of-state students enrolled in online courses at Georgia Piedmont Technical College have the right to file a complaint or grievance. Students are encouraged to first follow the College’s internal complaint procedures to seek a resolution.
If a resolution cannot be reached through the College, students may contact the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) portal entity in Georgia.
