Generative AI: Principles and Practice (GAP1)  Technical Certificate of Credit

This program provides a comprehensive foundation in generative AI, focusing on its methods, prompt engineering, andethical considerations. Participants will gain essential skills in leveraging generative AI technologies effectively andresponsibly. The curriculum covers the core processes behind generative AI, techniques for crafting and refiningprompts, and an in-depth exploration of ethical practices and societal impacts. Graduates will be equipped to navigateand apply generative AI in diverse, real-world contexts.

This course explores the fundamental principles, techniques, and applications of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI). Students will examine the processes AI models use to generate text, images, and other content, while also analyzing input-output dynamics and customization possibilities. Through practical exercises and discussions, learners will gain hands-on experience selecting appropriate AI tools for various tasks and understanding their limitations.

This course provides a comprehensive exploration of designing and improving prompts for generative AI. Students will learn to craft effective prompts for various outputs, such as text, images, and videos, while mastering techniques to refine prompts for enhanced precision and relevance. Emphasis is placed on evaluating AI outputs, integrating additional inputs, and applying reverse prompting strategies to achieve desired results.
