Hazing Reporting
In compliance with Georgia’s SB 85 “Max Gruver Act,” effective July 1, 2021, Georgia Piedmont Technical College will publicly disclose any hazing-related adjudications or convictions. Records will include the name of the organization involved, date(s), findings, sanctions, and outcomes. This information will be maintained for at least five years after final adjudication or conviction.

After class, there are many opportunities for students to gain vital leadership skills and socialize with other students by being involved in the Student Government Association (SGA), Skills-USA, and the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS). Most organizations offer the chance to compete with other technical college students at the local, state, and national levels.

There's always something exciting happening at GPTC! The Student Government Association (SGA) hosts a variety of events throughout the year—from campus favorites like Fall Festival and Spring Fling to off-campus trips to places like Six Flags, Savannah, and Chattanooga. Students can also enjoy activities such as pre-Super Bowl parties, stage plays, musicals, museum visits, aquarium tours, and more.
