Nano/Semiconductor Internship NSMT 2250
3 CreditsThis course focuses on and provides students with an immersive experience in the fields of nanotechnology and
semiconductor manufacturing technology. Participants will develop foundational knowledge and technical skills required
to work with advanced materials and devices. Through practical lab sessions, collaborative projects, and real-world
applications, students will explore topics such as the physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials, cleanroom
protocols, semiconductor fabrication techniques, and material characterization methods. Emphasis is placed on safety,
precision, and critical thinking in laboratory environments, as well as on professional development in the semiconductor
industry. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the competencies necessary to contribute to cuttingedge
technological advancements in nanotechnology and semiconductor manufacturing. This internship course provides
students with hands-on experience in nanotechnology and semiconductor manufacturing. Students will work under the
supervision of the instructor and industry professionals in a real-world setting to apply theoretical knowledge and
technical skills gained in prior coursework. The course emphasizes problem-solving, teamwork, and professional
communication while working in cleanroom environments or related technical facilities.
