Electric Vehicle Chargers ELTR 1050
Prerequisites: ECET 2101, IDFC 1012, IDSY 1105Pre/Corequisites: ECET 2102L, ECET 2102

This course introduces students to basic networking concepts and the applications of direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) concepts in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Electric Vehicle (EV) battery charging stations in commercial and residential settings. Topics include: electric vehicle (EV) charging fundamentals, EV battery types and charging requirements, charging station fundamentals, internet protocol (IP) networking of charging stations, installing, commissioning, maintaining and troubleshooting charging stations.
