Strategic Goals
Goal I: Strengthen Student Success
- 1.1 Expand offerings of credit and non-credit educational programs to match the specific needs of the college’s service delivery area (SDA) with a special emphasis on high-demand careers.
- 1.2 Identify and develop programs that encourage quick, efficient program completion, including distance education offerings.
- 1.3 Evaluate the effectiveness, quality and rigor of credit and non-credit programs.
- 1.4 Develop initiatives to transition students from Adult Education to credit-based programs of study.
- 1.5 Strengthen dual enrollment pathways to increase early college access and increase successful transitions into postsecondary programs.
- 1.6 Improve the quality of and engagement within online courses.
- 1.7 Implement instructional best practices to enhance student learning and foster an inclusive learning environment.
- 1.8 Improve academic planning processes to help students identify the most direct path to program completion.
- 1.9 Enhance the scope, quality and accessibility of support services to promote academic and non-academic student success.
- 1.10 Expand partnerships with local businesses and industries to streamline employment for graduates.
- 1.11 Increase career-readiness initiatives to better prepare students for job placement
Goal II: Strengthen Storytelling
- 2.1 Increase visibility and image of the college in each county served through marketing and outreach activities.
- 2.2 Expand off-campus offerings and services to increase community engagement and impact.
- 2.3 Strengthen on-campus and digital branding and signage to improve visibility and navigation for current and prospective students.
- 2.4 Promote an environment that supports and recognizes employee engagement, innovation and collaboration.
- 2.5 Invest in comprehensive, inclusive professional development strategies, both internal and external.
Goal III: Strengthen Operations
- 3.1 Strengthen internal process audits to streamline student services and supports.
- 3.2 Enhance college-wide onboarding and retention activities.
- 3.3 Advance institutional effectiveness through ongoing investment in instructional technology and operational infrastructure.
- 3.4 Strengthen sources of institutional funding to support student success and college operations, to include grants, scholarships, and charitable donations.
- 3.5 Identify opportunities for physical facility improvement and expansion throughout the service delivery area.
