GPTC Announces Summer 2026 President's and Dean's List Awardees

CLARKSTON, Ga. — Georgia Piedmont Technical College (GPTC) is proud to recognize 55 students who earned placement on the President’s List or Dean’s List for the Summer 2026 term.

The President’s List recognizes students who achieved a 4.0 grade point average while completing at least 12 credit hours of college-level courses numbered 1000 or higher.

The Dean’s List recognizes students who achieved a grade point average of 3.7 or higher while completing at least 12 credit hours of college-level courses numbered 1000 or higher.

About Georgia Piedmont Technical College

Established in 1961, Georgia Piedmont Technical College is a student-centered institution that prepares individuals with the skills to succeed in a rapidly changing economy. For the 2023 academic year, GPTC reported a 68 percent graduation rate and an approximate 99 percent job placement rate, according to the Technical College System of Georgia. The college’s Adult Education program—offering high school diploma options, equivalency test preparation, and English as a Second Language classes—is one of the largest in the state. GPTC serves DeKalb, Newton and Rockdale counties with multiple learning centers and offers customized workforce training through its Economic Development and Continuing Education division.
