Action Required · Dual Enrollment Registration
Your SSN Needs to Be Verified Before We Can Register You
While processing your registration, we found that your Social Security Number is either not on file with Georgia Piedmont Technical College or does not match what was submitted to the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC). We have to verify this before your courses can be funded.
We are required to verify your SSN for funding purposes, and we are unable to register you for courses until this is resolved. The good news -- this is a quick fix, and we are here to help you through it.
What's at Stake if This Isn't Resolved
You cannot be registered for courses
You will not be able to request official transcripts
You will not be able to register for future courses
Here's What to Do
1 Gather Your Documentation
Please provide one of the following documents that confirms your SSN. Any of these will work:

Any other official government-issued document containing your SSN

Why We Need This -- Funding Verification Requirement
Dual Enrollment is funded through the Georgia Student Finance Commission, which requires that the SSN on file with GPTC match what is in their system. Without a verified match, your courses cannot be funded, and we cannot register you without a resolution in place. This is a quick fix, and we are here to help you through it.
We know this feels like an extra hurdle, and we want to get it cleared up for you as quickly as possible. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions -- we are here to help.
