Andrea Sieber Area Manager
Andrea Sieber has spent 24 years at Southern Company, working with Gulf Power, Southern Company Services, and Georgia Power. She has experience in areas like marketing, regulatory matters, IT, nuclear development, energy efficiency, external affairs, and corporate responsibility. Today, Andrea is the Georgia Power Area Manager for DeKalb County, where she leads external activities, builds relationships with local officials, supports customers, and advances the company’s goals.
Andrea was a key contributor to the Vogtle 3&4 nuclear power plant project, leading investment recovery filings with the Georgia Public Service Commission. She also managed the design, evaluation, and regulatory compliance of energy efficiency programs in Integrated Resource Plan filings.
Most recently, Andrea was Chief of Staff to the SVP of Corporate Responsibility and the President & CEO of the Georgia Power Foundation. She helped lead efforts to grow philanthropic investments and volunteer services, making a bigger impact in the community.
Andrea earned her bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of West Florida. She is active in civic leadership, currently in the 2026 Class of Leadership North Fulton, and is a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett and Connect Florida. She serves on the boards of the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, DeKalb Schools Educational Foundation, We Love Buford Highway, and Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce. Previously, she served on the boards of Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation, Gwinnett Chamber Foundation, and Exceptional Futures.
Andrea is committed to diversity. She is the former chair of the Asian Pacific American employee resource group and was named one of Georgia’s 25 Most Influential Asian American Pacific Islanders in 2024.
