Ethics and Compliance at Georgia Piedmont Technical College

At Georgia Piedmont Technical College, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity in all that we do. As part of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), we share a responsibility to ensure that our operations, instruction, and services are conducted with honesty, transparency, and accountability.

TCSG has outlined this commitment through its Ethics and Standards of Conduct for Employees and Ethical Responsibilities of Employees. These standards apply to all TCSG institutions, including Georgia Piedmont Technical College.

Reporting Unethical or Non-Compliant Behavior

Georgia Piedmont Technical College encourages all employees, students, and stakeholders to speak up if they witness or suspect unethical behavior or non-compliance with policies. To support this, TCSG has created the Ethics and Compliance Reporting Portal—a secure and confidential way to report concerns.

Reports may involve suspected:

  • Fraud
  • Waste or abuse of resources
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Violations of policy
  • Unethical or inappropriate conduct

Reports may be submitted anonymously. All concerns made in good faith will be taken seriously and reviewed appropriately. Retaliation against individuals who report concerns is strictly prohibited.

Only matters involving non-compliance, unethical, or fraudulent behavior will be investigated through the portal. If your concern is better addressed through another process (such as student grievances or HR-related issues), it will be referred to the appropriate department for resolution.
