Fall 2026 Dual Enrollment
Complete Your Orientation Before You Register
Fall is coming up fast, and we want to make sure you are ready when registration opens. Before you can enroll in Fall dual enrollment courses at GPTC, you must complete the Mandatory Dual Enrollment Orientation and score 100% on the orientation quiz. The good news? You get to choose how you do it.

Step 1 -- Choose Your Path
Both options cover the same essential information. Pick the one that works best for you -- or use both.
Read through the full orientation at your own pace. Everything you need to know is organized into three clear categories -- Protect Your Funding, Succeed in Your Courses, and Know Your Resources -- with videos, examples, and callouts throughout.

Option 2
Watch the Orientation Video
Prefer to watch and listen? Start with the orientation video to get a full overview of everything you need to know. Use the orientation webpage alongside it as your reference guide when you take the quiz.

Step 2 -- Take the Quiz and Score 100%
Whichever option you choose, your path ends at the same place -- the orientation quiz. You must answer all questions correctly to complete your orientation. If you miss any, the quiz will only show you the questions you got wrong so you can focus your review and retake just those.

What Happens After You Complete Orientation
Once your orientation is complete, here is what to expect next.
1
Watch for our email letting you know Fall registration is open
We will send a separate email to your GPTC student account as soon as Fall registration opens. Make sure you are checking your GPTC email every weekday -- that is your official communication channel and you are responsible for everything in your inbox.
2
Search for your Fall courses
Use the course search tool to browse available courses. Before you commit to a CRN, confirm the course location, meeting time, format (in-person or online), and whether you meet the prerequisites. You own that choice once you submit.

3
Make sure your counselor has approved your courses in GAFutures first
Your counselor must approve your courses in GAFutures before you submit your registration form. The HSI office cannot register you without that approval in place -- submitting before it is there means you will need to resubmit.
4
Submit your Course Registration Request Form
Once your counselor has approved your courses in GAFutures, submit the Course Registration Request Form to the HSI office. The HSI team will confirm your funding and complete your registration. Note: the form is currently accepting Summer course requests only. A Fall-specific form will be shared when registration opens.
🔔
Do not wait. Completing your orientation now means you will be ready to act the moment Fall registration opens. Students who wait often miss their preferred courses. Get it done today -- we are rooting for you.
