Why Transcripts Matter

Whether you're applying for a job or transferring to another school, having accurate transcripts-both official and unofficial-is essential.

Official Transcripts

  • Ordering: Georgia Piedmont Technical College uses Parchment Exchange for all official transcript requests.
  • Cost: $10.00 per copy
  • How to Order:
    1. Visit the official transcript ordering portal.
    2. Follow the steps to request a transcript (electronic or paper).
    3. Pay $10 per copy through Parchment.
  • Restrictions: Transcripts will not be issued if you have outstanding financial obligations or transcript holds.

Unofficial Transcripts (Current Students Only)

Unofficial transcripts can be accessed through Student Self-Service Experience:

  1. Log into the Student App Dashboard.
  2. Select Student Self-Service Experience.
  3. Go to Student Services → Student Profile → Academic Transcript.
  4. Select "All Levels" and "Student-Advisement Copy," then click Submit.

Transcript Re-Evaluation (Transfer Credit)

Need to re-evaluate coursework from another institution? Follow these steps:

  1. Complete the Transcript Re-Evaluation Form.
  2. Keep a copy for your records.
  3. Email the form and supporting documents to the email address provided on the form.
