To ensure the timely awarding of your diploma, degree, or certificate, all candidates for graduation must submit a graduation application to the Office of the Registrar before the start of their final semester. This requirement applies regardless of whether you plan to participate in the graduation ceremony.
Notifying the Registrar that you are completing your program is an essential step in the graduation process.

Graduate Application Deadlines:
- Fall 2025: November 30, 2025
- Spring 2026: March 4, 2026
- Summer 2026: July 2, 2026
Important Notes
- Applying after the deadline may affect your awarding and receipt of credentials.
- No Student Loan Borrower Exit Review is required, as GPTC does not offer student loans.
- All candidates must fulfill all financial obligations to Georgia Piedmont Technical College at least 30 days before commencement.
- Students who fail to fulfill financial obligations may not participate in commencement, which could result in a hold on transcripts and credentials.
