Adult Health II RNSG 2808

This course prepares students to manage the care of patients with complex, multisystem disorders. Students will expand essential nursing skills and roles to include higher levels of evidence-based practice, and demonstrate patient teaching, health promotion, quality and safety, teamwork, interprofessional collaboration, and nursing leadership. Students will use the nursing process to provide compassionate, holistic care to diverse adult clients in various acute and community settings. The course integrates advanced medical-surgical nursing concepts, emphasizing the restoration and maintenance of health. Clinical experiences in inpatient and outpatient settings, with simulated labs, will reinforce theory, enhance nursing skills, and foster professional development through critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration.
