To assure the success of every student, Georgia Piedmont Tech features these services:
Students with Disabilities
Accommodations and assistance are offered to eligible students with documented physical, emotional/mental, hearing, visual, learning, and other health impairments in the areas of: career guidance, academic assessment/placement, assistive classroom technology, interpreters, and referral to community service agencies.
International Students
Assists beginning or transfer students seeking or holding an F-1/M-1 Visa with the admission process, issues I-20’s, provides guidance and support for maintenance of Visa status.
Student Counseling
Counseling is a chance to explore your feelings and acquire the skills, attitudes, abilities, and insights that will enable you to address stress and conflicts that may distract you from completing your program of student and achieving your full potential. GPTC counseling services are available to all currently enrolled GPTC students on a first-come first-serve basis.
Equity / Special Populations
Equity / Special Populations provides support services to single parents, displaced homemakers, and non-traditional students through a lending library, access to community resources, and customized workshops.
