Criminal Justice Organizations
Princess Gonzalez, Anthony L. Williams Senior Director – Asset Protection Northeast Division, Davia Chin, and Kimberly Lane, Dorian Heard. Four Georgia Piedmont Technical College students were selected by The International Organization of Black Security Executives (IOBSE) to attend an annual conference in Boca Raton, Florida. The organization provides security and management-focused educational programs to college students, seasoned practitioners and senior executives.

National Technical Honors Society
Georgia Piedmont Technical College National Technical Honors Society Chapter President, Natasha James, received the 3rd place Citizenship Award. The recognition is based on chapter involvement and community service project at the NTHS State Conference in Atlanta.

Georgia Piedmont Technical College student Thelma Clark-Thomas received the 2016 Amy Holloway Scholarship for Academic Excellence and Community Service Projects for SkillsUSA, which was presented at the Georgia Career and Leadership Development Conference.

Phi Beta Lambda
Phi Beta Lambda Second Place State Winners, Natasha James and Jackie Durgan. The two ladies also represented GPTC at the National convention in Atlanta, GA.
