Security Report

Georgia Perimeter Technical College has its own Campus public safety department. Police officers are responsible for a full range of public safety services including all crime reports, investigations, and traffic control/accident reports; enforcement of laws concerning use of alcoholic beverages, controlled substances and weapons on campus; and all other incidents requiring police assistance or emergency medical care; however, police officers are not equipped to assist students with automobile difficulties, such as dead batteries and keys locked in the car.

Any student, who observes what appears to be suspicious or illegal activity has a concern about personal safety on campus, wishes to discuss campus safety and security, or wishes to report an incident which may require administrative or security intervention may do so by contacting the chief of security/campus police. Each year Georgia Piedmont Technical College publishes specific crime-related information in accordance with the guidelines of the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (formerly the Campus Security Act of 1990). This report is available in the office of the chief of security/campus police, located in Building A, Suite 168.
