Are you called to serve? The Basic Law Enforcement certificate program provides students the skills, standards and knowledge necessary to become qualified, proficiently trained, ethical and competent peace officers. Successful completion of the the program will make graduates eligible to be certified as a Georgia Peace Officer. Students who successfully complete the program are eligible for entry level positions in state and local governments as well as specialty jurisdictions as Georgia POST certified peace officers with duties including crime prevention, patrol and investigation, search, seizure and arrest.
