Free networking workshop for small business

Small-business consultant Sharon Macaluso is guest speaker at Biscuits & Business – 9 Strategies for Authentic Networking on April 12 at Georgia Piedmont Technical College at Wesley Chapel.

Macaluso is area director of the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center in metro Atlanta. She has been with the UGA SBDC since 1995 and has consulted with more than 2,000 small to medium-sized business owners. In 2016 under her leadership, the DeKalb office of the UGA SBDC won DeKalb Chamber’s Apex Award for Business Advocacy.
The interactive workshop will provide participants with specific approaches and tips to get a higher ROI from their networking time and dollars. There will be time to practice tips and ideas gleaned from the session, and participants should come prepared with business cards to get connected.
It is presented by the DeKalb Chamber Small Business Advisory Council and the UGA SBDC.
