Two-day workshop to prepare youth for summer jobs

March 31, 2017

"Youth ROCK! EXPOsed" Career Readiness for high school students is set of April 3 and 4 at Georgia Piedmont Technical College Conference Center.

The 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. event aims to prepare DeKalb County youth for summer employment opportunities with workshops on resume writing, dressing for success, effective communication, and entrepreneurship.

Participants also can attend a job fair and get assistance researching college scholarships.

While participation is free, space is limited and requires register at www.bit.do/youthrock.

GPTC Conference Center is at 495 North Indian Creek Road in Clarkston.
