Georgia Piedmont Technical College Announces Dean’s List and President’s List Residents in Newton County

Newton County, GA. - May 05, 2016

Georgia Piedmont Technical College is pleased to announced that two Newton County students were named to the institution’s prestigious President’s List, while 15 additional students earned the Dean’s List distinction.

The Dean’s List and President’s List recognize Georgia Piedmont Technical College’s outstanding scholars.  At the end of each semester, students who have achieved a 4.0 semester grade point average on at least six credit hours completed in the current term, and who have earned at least 12 credit hours in previous terms, are placed on the President’s List.  Correspondingly, students who have achieved a 3.5 grade point average on at least six credit hours completed in the current term are placed on the Dean’s List at the end of each semester.    

“Being named to the Dean’s List and President’s List is admirable, and I’m proud of these students for achieving academic success,” said Dr. Jabari Simama, president of Georgia Piedmont.
