The Georgia Piedmont Technical College student and faculty survey and analysis are a production of The Office of Institutional Assessment, Planning and Effectiveness (OIAPE.)

Data is collected, analyzed and reported to determine the effectiveness of our services and to support planning and accountability processes of the College.  All reports require Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Colleague Forum Satisfaction Survey
This survey was designed to enable better planning and execution of future Colleague Forums and tailor them to meet faculty and staff needs. 

Community Needs Assessment
Georgia Piedmont Technical College conducts this survey to gather information that will improve our understanding of needs of the Business and Industry community as well as the residents of the College's service area.

The information will assist the College to:

  • identify current and future community needs for improved, expanded and/or new programs and services.
  • implement the College's Strategic Plan relative to budget requests and allocation to effectively serve you, our customer.

The responses help the College to become a more vital and positive force in our community and service area.

Digital Learning Day Survey (QEP)
February 6, 2013 was Digital Learning Day. To celebrate, the Office of Quality Enhancement hosted its first Digital Literacy Boot Camp in the Student Success Centers on the DeKalb and Newton Campuses. Instructors and tutors held 40 minute sessions on: Navigating ANGEL, Emailing, File Management, Posting Documents, and Doing Research on Credible Websites. These competencies were identified in the College's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), and address our goal to increase technical/computer assistance for our students.

Dual Enrollment Survey
This survey was designed to gauge the program preference of High School Students in the 10th and 11th grades.   The objective was to gather data on which programs are attractive to high school students as dual enrollment options.

Fact Book
The GPTC Fact Book represents a continuing effort to improve the quality and accessibility of information about Georgia Piedmont Technical College.  It is a retrospective of the campus in the form of data, information, tables and figures.

Updated annually, the Fact Book provides answers to many of the most commonly asked questions about the campus (such as enrollment and demographics) and serves as a source of comparative information over time.

Fast Facts
The GPTC Fast Facts is an annual compilation of the College's statistics and trends in a handy at-a-glance format.

Faculty/Staff Survey
The purpose of this survey is to access the internal perceptions of Georgia Piedmont Technical College.

Graduation Survey
The purpose of this survey is to obtain information and opinions from students preparing to exit from Georgia Piedmont Technical College to assist the College in improving its programs and services.

IPEDS Data Feedback Reports
IPEDS (Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System) collects institution level data from nearly 7,000 institutions that provide postsecondary education across the United States.  These data are used at federal and state level for policy analysis and development for benchmarking and peer analysis.  Following are some topline data for Georgia Piedmont Technical College and a comparison group of institutions.

New Student Orientation
This survey was designed to gauge the satisfaction of new GPTC Students as they are guided through the admissions and orientation process. 

Right Start Enrollment Workshop
Potential GPTC students are invited to attend a workshop where they receive assistance with completing the GPTC admissions application, submitting required documents, understanding the financial aid and advising process.

Student Activities
There are special events and activities held on each campus for the students of Georgia Piedmont Technical College that are sponsored by the Student Government Association and assisted by clubs and organizations on campus. This survey is designed to capture student feedback on these events.
