The HUB

The HUB is a resource geared to resolve the computer problems of our students, staff, and faculty. The main goal of the HUB is to eliminate technological barriers that impede student success. The services that we are currently offering include:

  • Servicing slow or unresponsive systems
  • Removing viruses/malware
  • Connecting to the GPTC wireless network with a laptop, tablet, or smartphone
  • Installing any course-related software
  • Resolving Microsoft Office compatibility issues
  • Installing/updating any browser plug-ins necessary for course-related websites such as: Blackboard, McGraw-Hill Connect, Simnet, etc.
  • Syncing GPTC student email to mobile devices
  • Providing solutions to various, general computer problems

We are proud to have trained technicians and proven solution methods that allow us to effectively service almost any problem that is covered under our list of provided services. Our friendly and competent staff has the ability to answer and explain any questions arising from general computer usage. No problem is too small! If you have any problems with your desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone, come to the HUB!
