First Year Focus

The First Year Focus Orientation is a student development initiative facilitated by Advising, Career, and Retention Services (ACRS) to help prepare new students for college success.

All new GPTC Students are required to meet with an academic and career advisor for mandatory advising and registration. After you receive your schedule, we will assist you with registering for our First Year Focus Spring 2016 New Student Orientation at one of the campuses listed below. Attending New Student Orientation is very important. You will learn about the range of services available to you as a GPTC student, and be able to secure needed supplies and instruction including your GPTC student I.D., parking decal for your car, books, financial aid updates while learning how to open your student email and log into Blackboard, your classroom software.
