In line with the national focus on STEM education – programs in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, Georgia Piedmont Technical College offers a wide range of STEM initiatives to students. Our goals are to:

  • Increase enrollment of STEM and STEM-related programs at GPTC
  • Develop effective marketing strategies to increase program visibility
  • Increase the productivity of STEM program advisory boards
  • Develop and strengthen community and industry relationships
  • Increase opportunities for middle and high school students to be exposed to STEM education via dual and joint enrollment and articulation agreements.
  • Identify and write grants to assist in supporting the college's STEM initiatives and programs
